Bonus Stops

I noticed that Bonus stops are described at each Memorial site. Are these additional points of interest required to receive credit for visiting a memorial?

This has been asked enough times to put on the FAQ, along with a few other questions. The answer is no, you don't need to visit those "Bonus Stops." No extra credit given, just something else to do while you're in the area.
