So what is everyone riding during the TOH? Image

I realize I could see the various models on the Riders List Page.... but let's see the pics!

I'll be on this sedate, unassuming machine here...

I am not sure how much free time I'll have this summer, so similar to my friend Jerry White, I will likely make an IBA ride out of this ride and score all the Nevada sites in 24 hours... probably be a BBG, I'm guessing. Won't know till I see the Nevada listing.

C'mon, folks... post up them pics of your TOH bike! Image

Great idea!

It looks like the gauntlet has been thrown here. For posting photos, that is....I'd suggest *not* accepting any kind of riding challenge from this man. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Wilson's exploits, last year he completed 7 consecutive Bun Burner Golds, an amazing 10,500 miles in 7 days, a record that probably won't be broken. Ever.

Thanks for joining us, Dale.

For some of you that are reading this and wondering, "What have I gotten myself into?", don't think, "I can't do this!" Even if you are in a neighboring state, there is a good possibility that one of the memorials will be withing a couple hundred miles. And even if you only do one, that is more than what you would have done without knowing about this ride. Take the one ride and then decide if that is enough or you want more. For us newbies, this is about watching your name climb the rankings and once you get above a couple of goose eggs, it becomes quite an adventure.

One of the Beatles hits was The Magical Mystery Tour. "Wanting to take you away, Hoping to take you away, Dying to take you away." Let that ring through your head for 90 miles, 900 miles, 9000 miles, whatever works best for you.

If you decide to only do one have a plan for the next closest one. This gets addicting REAL quick!!!!!

I have very little experience on sport bikes but know that they're short distance machines for most people. You certainly have my respect for spending the kind of time on it that you clearly do. As soon as I figure out how to post a photo I'll put up a picture of my Goldwing, Still stock but a dream to ride.
