Randy: I, too, grew up with Volkswagens (4 of 'em) and addicted to "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive." It was a good background for working on bikes.

It's on Colorado 17, between Antonio, CO and Chama, NM. We did a weekend ride out of Red River NM in mid May. Good riding with temps ranging between 30 at the high passes and 75 down in Taos/Santa Fe.

Barry Bennett has raised the bar for auxiliary fuel cells, this is the latest one on his BMW LT. Check out the sliding rack for fuel access. Click on the photos to fully appreciate the craftsmanship.
