Here are my photos of Carson City. I think I'm the first TOH rider to visit. The waypoint is the monument itself, and my GPS tried to route me through someone's back yard on the other side of the park. Better to route yourself to the street address of the park, and then walk in and find the Vietnam Memorial.

Good tip. We don't want riders working on Carson City's next memorial.

Surprisingly enough, both I and Paul Paniagua, TOH Towel #80, were there at the same time last week.

Cool! And you rode your bikes right up to the memorial. I was too much of a wuss to do that, I kept it in the parking lot.

I just followed Paul.

That was actually the second time in two days that I visited Mills Park. The day before I was told there wasn't a Vietnam War Memorial in the park, so I took pictures of the Firefighter's Memorial. I had to ride all the way up from Big Pine to get the correct photos.

After freezing on the way back to Carson City, I no longer felt good enough to continue onto Tonopah and the two "E"s.

Like Jerry, I hoofed it. Of course it was 8:30 when I got there and very dark. I felt bad shining my flashlight in yards as it was.
