Posting Pics

Can someone please tell me how to post a picture on the forum. I've tried all sorts of stuff and I can't get anything to work.

Click on "reply" or "start a thread", go down near the bottom and and click on "upload attachment". Click on "browse" and find the picture on your computer. Double click on pictures file name. Then click on "add the file". Move the cursor to where you want the picture to be in your write-up and click on "place inline"

Try to keep the photos at 2Mb or less and they should be in .jpg format. Good luck and keep asking if you're still having problems. We want to see whatcha got.

It would appear that you cannot use your iPhone to post photos. I logged onto the site with my iPhone and pulled up this thread. When you go to "reply" and select "upload attachment" you are not presented with the "browse" feature. The feature you see in the box is inactive and I am unable to select any photos on my iPhone camera roll to upload. Is there some way to email the photos to the forum like I do when using Facebook? If my iPhone cannot be used to post photos, I may try posting them to PhotoBucket or put them on Facebook with a reference for folks to go to my Facebook page. I will make the photos available to everyone, not just my friends. As a last resort, I will just wait til the end of my tour to post the photos.

I found out that I can post my iPhone photos to PhotoBucket. Then I can view the photos on PhotoBucket and retrieve the codes to copy/paste into my posts on TOH Forum. That may be the best way for me to post my photos as I travel. I did this on my first post in the thread "Introduce Yourself" with a photo the bike I will take on my TOH. View it under the topic "San Diego says hello"
