The "Forgotten War" isn't forgotten here. This artistic memorial contains a large circle of granite, stood on end, representing the “Circle of Life” and the role that Florida veterans played in it. A piece is broken out of the circle and embedded in the ground nearby, symbolizing the disruption of the Circle of Life and is etched with the names of 583 Floridians killed in action during the conflict.

A map of Korea is on the ground, bisected at the demilitarized zone by the granite circle. Around the perimeter of the memorial is a timeline containing markers with stories of the war and major battles.

Bonus stop: For a taste of southern country, step back in time and visit Bradley's Country Store, known for their smoked pork sausage: "Mild, Medium, or HOT!!!"
