The memorial is part of the new Utah Museum of Fire Service History honoring all Utah firefighters. The 37,000 square foot museum contains many displays of firefighting memorabilia and more than 40 restored pieces of working apparatus. Firetrucks include a 1922 LeFrance chain driven rig, a Model A, a Model T and other rare pieces. All restoration is done on-site. The outdoor portion and memorial is available at any time, but the indoor portion and gift shop has limited hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

If you give two days notice, they said they'll open the museum outside of their normal hours for TOH participants (please don't abuse this privilege). (435) 830-6556.

NOTE: They started closing off access to the outdoor exhibits, outside of normal hours.

Bonus stop: The new Miller Motorsports Park, an impressive facility that now hosts several world-class events, including the FIM Superbike World Championship series.
