The park is located on 122 acres of land adjacent to a scenic intercoastal waterway near the Gulf of Mexico. A landscaped Memorial Center contains five plaques for the five branches of service along with their flags.

There is a large equatorial sundial to set your GPS to, and a “Walker Bulldog” tank from the Korean War era. The tank was built by Cadillac/GMC in 1953.

Park is open 365 days a year, 7am to sunset.

Bonus stop: For seafood, check out Crabby Bill's at St. Pete Beach for a fried grouper sandwich or plate of stone crabs.
