The Wounded Combat Veterans Memorial is dedicated to all men and women wounded in combat with enemies of the United States. It was completed in 2006 through the efforts of the Oregon Military Order of the Purple Heart.

The memorial is located on the grounds of the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum that includes an extensive collection of military aircraft from throughout America’s history, as well as relics of our manned space exploration. It is also the resting place of Howard Hughes’ famous Spruce Goose, the largest aircraft ever made.

Recently added is an indoor water park with water slides originating in a Boeing 747 parked on the roof!
