A nice static display of two EA-6B Prowlers, the type of aircraft Washington State sponsor Dale Wilson worked on. The base was used for practice of all types of carrier-based planes, including the Prowlers. Now it houses 21 different squadrons and maintains one of the largest Search and Rescue Units in the Pacific Northwest.

NOTE: If you're feeling adventurous and have the time consider taking a Washington State Ferry trip from Mukilteo to Clinton on the southern tip of the island. Mukilteo (land-side) has a state park with a lighthouse next to the ferry terminal. Otherwise, take Hwy. 20 off I-5 and cross the scenic Deception Pass Bridge on the northern side of the island.
