The Arizona Veterans Memorial is actually split into a North and South section. The two sections are separated by water so if you choose to visit both sections, you’ll have to go around the long way, unless you packed a swim suit of course. To access the NORTH part of the memorial you would go to the parking lot behind the saloon at 2170 Rio Grande.

But, for our purposes, the only required visit is to the south portion of the park. The only access is on the property of the American Legion so a visit when they are open would be highly recommended. If you must visit at night, you could substitute the Medal of Honor Memorial in the north portion. (The one with the flame.)
