Rehoboth Beach is a small town of only about 1,500 residents and just over a square mile of land on the Delaware shore. Its small size did not stop it from making significant contributions to the nation’s defense in wars spanning the last century.

Located at the former base of the Flying Anti-Submarine Patrol, this memorial honors the members of that unit who died in service to their country as well as members of the armed forces from Rehoboth Beach who were killed in action in World Wars I & II, Korea and Vietnam as well as all service members then and since.

"Dedicated to Honor the
sacrifice of the men and women
who served our country
in war and peace"

Also in the area: Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth Beach is a mecca for summer beach-goers. Its boardwalk was named the Best in America and the town was named as one of the 5 best places to retire in the nation. During the summer the Sea Witch Festival, Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival and the Autumn Jazz Festival are all worth spending a little extra time in this charming seaside town.
