This beautiful memorial is dedicated to honor the men that have served and died in World War I, II, The Korean Conflict and The Vietnam War. There is also a Huey helicopter, an M-60 Tank and other artifacts on display.

The Greenup County War Memorial is dedicated to those who gave their lives in the protection of their Country. It serves as a place of honor where local names of those who died protecting our democracy are etched in stone. The Memorial reminds visitors of the reality, and destructive force that freedom requires through display of actual weapons of war. It has become a sacred place of reflection and peace for those whose family names are permanently displayed here.

It is a place of respect that connects the present to past wars and the catastrophic price to be paid for freedom. It is indeed a place admired for what it represents, and the labor it took to make it a reality.

Hours: Daily 9AM to 8PM
