The original monument, honoring WW II veterans from Union County. was erected 2003 and features the names of over 2,000 Union County men and women. Two additional monuments on the site commemorate veterans of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.

Parking and Access: Community Park is open from dusk until dawn. (With the exception of the Annual Blueberries & Bluegrass Festival in mid-July, you can park your motorcycle for pictures directly in front of the memorial).

Also in the area: Mifflinburg is a beautiful town that features wonderful architecture. There are a number of great shops & restaurants downtown. Great roads through authentic Amish farmland are gorgeous during any season.

History lovers will enjoy The Mifflinburg Buggy Museum.

Visit Cruiser’s Café (just 20 minutes south of Mifflinburg) for motorcycle-friendly retro dining.
