The hill is hard to miss as you enter Midway, as the town isn't that big but the hill is. You'll circle the hill two and a half times as you climb to the summit where the memorial stands. The view is awesome and the memorial itself is extremely well done and worth the visit. The M-16 with helmet part is particularly inspiring.

Caution: Gravel road circling the hill to the top.

Also in the area: Highway 40 south and east all the way to Vernal is a very pretty ride, according to the state sponsor, Bill Card.

Wolf Creek Pass and Upper Stillwater Dam: One of the most beautiful rides in Utah, it's especially terrific when combined with the Wolf Creek Pass.
